How We started
Through our years of being in the food industry we found that there are many people that do not understand the fundamentals of a quality or food safety management system.
Due to this lack of understanding systems are put in place to “pass an audit” and does not add value to the organizations’ business.
We, at FSQ Excellence, decided that there is a need to change the approach to systems and decided to utilize our years of knowledge and experience to help those struggling to grasp the concept of a value adding system.
Who We Are
The director, Anisha Ramnarayan, started in the food industry as a quality controller and worked her way up the professional ladder. Anisha has more than 10 years of industry experience.
Her experience is spread across all sectors of the food industry and entails the development, implementation, maintenance and auditing of quality and food safety management systems.
Anisha Ramnarayan is a registered auditor with the South African Auditing & Training Certification Authority (SAATCA).
What We Do
We provide advice and guidance to organizations on Quality/ Food Safety Management Systems implementation.
We develop and implement Quality /Food Safety Management System inclusive of documentation development. We plan and implement training programs that include HACCP, PRP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000.
Strategic Consulting within the Food Industry (i.e. includes both food production and food packaging facilities).This includes providing strategic feedback on bridging of gaps identified.
We perform Food Safety, Pre Requisite Programs, Compliance, Supplier and Internal audits for companies within the Food Supply Chain against Global Food Safety Initiative schemes. In addition to the above, we also conduct Third Party Supplier audits against government regulations and National standards. The Supplier audits include Food Manufacturing facilities and Packaging Suppliers. Audit reports with action plans are complied, for all audits, for the clients.
We also provide guidance/advice with regards to food safety issues that may arise. Compilation of client quality management reports on cyclical basis as per client requirements.
